We are a Christ-centered, Bible-focused, Mission-minded church,
seeking to grow God’s kingdom here in Guildford and beyond
with the help of the Holy Spirit

Our Calling

We are called to be:

Disciples – equipping everyone, through teaching and worship, to know Christ better

Missional – enabling everyone, in their own way and in their own time, to make Christ better known

Welcoming – building relationships with all who come to Christ Church, those who use our buildings, and those who live in our parish

Pastoral – as an inter-generational church, we recognise our need to support people of all ages and all stages of life, those exploring faith as well as those who have been Christians for many years

What we believe

We believe in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ, crucified and resurrected, our Saviour and King.

We believe in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit who daily guides and helps us on our journey of faith.

We believe the Bible is the infallible word of God, essential for teaching and guiding us in our daily lives.

We believe God calls us into a relationship with him through the intimacy of prayer.

We believe in using our God-given gifts in the service of God and others.

We believe in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in both word and action, loving and serving those around us.
