There have been so many opportunities to celebrate the birth of our Saviour throughout all our Christmas services. We especially loved that two of our local schools had their Christmas services with us. Christmas also provides opportunities for fellowship and we have been blessed with a wide array of different events: including our Nativity Panto;
On Wednesday 30th October we had a fantastic Light Party celebrating Jesus as the light of the world. Almost 40 children between reception and Year 6 enjoyed fabulous light inspired craft, games and songs with drama and teaching by our very own Doris and Doreen! On 22nd August Christ Church was pleased to host our Seniors In Touch day which this year was themed around the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. All enjoyed a leisurely start to the day with morning coffee followed by a pre-lunch Pimms whilst photos in suitable rally attire were taken. In seaside fashion lunch
Open Hands enjoyed a wonderful afternoon social in August enjoying the Christ Church Hall and Garden whilst participating in a range of indoor and outdoor activities. Over 50 people attended and had a lot of fun together throughout the afternoon.

We have had a fantastic week at holiday club at the end of July with around 50 children participating in our sport themed extravaganza! All enjoyed the usual mix of craft, games, and songs together with our holiday club favorites’ of singing Hey Lord and participating in the daily balloon sacrifice. We look forward to
