In Touch 2025
As always our In Touch day for seniors was a gastronomic delight, this year focusing on local specialities from around the country including York fingers, Whitby Kipper Pate, Somerset Pork, Cheddar Cheese Plait, Bakewell Tart and Eton Mess. Holiday Club 2025
What a week !- a fabulous week of drama, games, singing, jokes, teaching and fun. The children and the adults all had a wonderful time and can’t wait for the next event – keep checking our events page.
Open Hands 2025 Summer Social
Our Open Hands Group repeated the success of their 2024 summer social with another afternoon of fun, fellowship, puzzles, games, dancing and of course tea! This was followed by a wonderful afternoon of fun bowling at Guildford Spectrum.
End of Summer Term Celebrations
Our seniors finished their Summer programme with their annual Garden party. A chance simply to chat in lovely surroundings and enjoy tea together featuring a wonderful array of cakes. Not to be out done our men’s group concluded their summer programme with an evening barbecue with fine food, a glass of something refreshing and fellowship…
Thursdays@2 VE Day Celebrations
A wonderful afternoon celebration! Individuals shared their memories of VE day including a report of the return of the very first vicar of Christ Church. A rousing selection of war time songs was led by the U3A ukulele group. Easter Fun
We had a fantastic morning on Tuesday 10th April when approximately 25 children joined us for a morning of craft, games, songs, drama and teaching. A mini holiday club reflecting on the meaning of Easter and some of our favourite Easter traditions.
